What are the kids club age groups and requirements?
Disney’s youth programming is generally divided by age group, with separate spaces for younger kids, tweens, and teens so each group has activities suited to them. To join the main kids club (Oceaneer Club / Lab, typically ages 3–10), children need to be fully potty trained and comfortable interacting within group settings at the standard counselor-to-child ratios. Parents of children with disabilities who don’t meet the standard participation guidelines can request modified programming in advance through Disney’s Special Reservations team. Is there a nursery for babies and toddlers?
Yes — for children too young for the main kids club, Disney offers a nursery (often called “It’s a Small World Nursery”) for an hourly fee. It’s a popular option for parents wanting an evening or date night without hiring outside childcare. Spots are limited — book when your activity window opens.
What’s the dress code for dinner?
Most onboard dining is “cruise casual” — shorts and t-shirts are fine, though swimwear and tank tops aren’t permitted in dining rooms. Many cruises include an optional dress-up night (sometimes pirate-themed, sometimes more formal), where a jacket for men or a dress/pantsuit for women is appropriate but not required. Adult-only restaurants like Palo and Remy tend to expect a more polished casual look — think collared shirts, dress pants, or nice jeans.

Will I get seasick?
It’s less common than people expect. Disney ships are equipped with stabilizers and use weather-tracking technology to route around rough seas when possible. Most guests never notice significant motion, but if you’re prone to motion sickness, over-the-counter remedies are available at Guest Services and in select onboard shops — worth packing some just in case.
