What to book first when the window opens
Most paid activities open on your Castaway Club day (75–123 days out). A few high-demand items use different calendars — don’t miss those.
On your Castaway Club activity day
- Cabanas at Castaway Cay or Lookout Cay — if you want one, treat this as minute-one.
- High-demand Port Adventures (Atlantis, Stingray City boats, glacier flights, White Pass train).
- Specialty dining — Palo / Palo Steakhouse, Remy, Enchanté; brunch slots go fast on short sailings.
- Character teas / picnics (paid, limited) — Royal Court Royal Tea on Magic, Wonder, Dream, and Fantasy; Olaf’s Royal Picnic on the Wish only (not Treasure or Destiny). Book in the same Castaway Club activity window as Palo and Port Adventures.
- Spa / adult spa day, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique / Pirates League, and nursery slots — after the must-dos above for most families.
Different calendars — set separate reminders
- Port arrival time / online check-in — opens later by Castaway Club tier (roughly mid-30s days before sail for members; first-timers later). Pick the earliest arrival group you can if you want short lines and an earlier first afternoon onboard.
- Royal Gathering (free multi-princess meet, reservation required) — opens ~30 days before sail for everyone, not on your Castaway Club activity day. Concierge can often arrange it earlier by phone. On Disney Adventure, book onboard in the Navigator app. If this matters to your kids, put 30 days out on the calendar.

Disney generally requires final payment before you can book activities online — including teas, picnic, and Royal Gathering. Confirm in My Cruise Activities when your window opens.
