Automatic after your first eligible cruise
Finish one eligible Disney Cruise Line sailing and you’re in Castaway Club — no signup fee. Levels are based on completed eligible cruises (each sailing counts as one, whether it’s 3 nights or 14). Some fare types (media, vendor, certain Cast Member business rates) don’t count.
- Benefits follow the stateroom. Everyone in your cabin gets the perks of the highest-level Castaway Club member in that room.
- Stay active. Members generally need to book or sail at least once every five years to remain in the program.
- Concierge ≠ Castaway Club. Concierge is a stateroom category with its own early access. You can be Concierge and also Silver/Gold/Platinum/Pearl.

Activity booking windows
This is why Castaway Club status shows up in every cabana and Palo conversation. Higher tiers open earlier for Port Adventures, specialty dining, and spa.
| Tier | Sailings | Activities open | New itineraries | Online check-in |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| First-time guest | 0 | ~75 days | General sale | Later than members |
| Silver | 1+ | ~90 days | ~1 day early | ~33 days |
| Gold | 5+ | ~105 days | ~2 days early | ~35 days |
| Platinum | 10+ | ~120 days | ~3 days early | ~38 days |
| Pearl | 25+ | ~123 days | ~4 days early | ~40 days |
| Concierge (category) | — | ~130 phone / ~123 online | Category perks | Concierge process |
How to use your tier
- Know your open day. Put the activity window on a calendar and be logged into My Cruise Activities at midnight Eastern when it opens if you want cabanas or top excursions.
- Link staterooms carefully. Benefits don’t automatically spill to a separate cabin — only the highest member in that room sets the window for that cabin’s bookings.
- Platinum / Pearl Palo. Complimentary specialty dinner has age and sailing rules — confirm eligibility for your voyage before you count on it.
- First cruise? You’re not Castaway Club until you sail. Plan around the ~75-day first-timer activity window, then you’ll unlock Silver for the next trip.
