- Boat tours. Some Stingray / sandbar trips include light snacks or water — check your specific tour, don’t assume a full meal.
- Kids. Beach-club style menus with familiar options beat a long taxi search when everyone’s already wet and hungry.
What’s worth bringing home
- Duty-free jewelry and watches. George Town is known for it — compare prices to home before assuming “duty-free” means “cheapest.”

Do Stingray City at least once — it’s genuinely different from a normal beach day. Standing in waist-deep water while rays glide past is the moment most families remember from this stop. Pair it with a shorter Seven Mile Beach visit rather than trying to fit both at full length.
